Ready to find food freedom?

If you’re sick of your life being ruled by food guilt and body shame, you’ve come to the right place. Let us support you on your journey to heal your relationship with food and your body, so you can start living the life you want.

We’re a team of non-diet eating disorder dietitians and we specialise in working with people with eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image concerns.

We’ve both gone through our own process of unlearning dieting culture and discovering the joy of eating intuitively. We understand what it’s like to try to change your body to feel better about yourself and we’re passionate about supporting other people to live a diet-free life.

Eating disorder dietitians in Perth WA

Our office is located in the Perth suburb of Booragoon, on Whadjuk Nyoongar country.
Telehealth sessions are also available.

Are we the right eating disorder dietitians for you?

We work with adults and adolescents who’ve become disconnected from their body’s intuitive eating cues and want to break free of the diet mindset that controls their eating. No matter how disordered your eating is, you can recover.

We support our clients to feel better about their body without engaging in the weight control behaviours that have kept their disordered eating going. Your weight or shape is not a problem to be fixed; it’s the way you’ve been conditioned to think and feel about your body that has the most potential for meaningful change.

What we offer

Adults
We work with adults one-on-one to address concerns about eating and body image. As well as our clinical dietetic knowledge, we draw on our understanding of different psychological treatments to inform the work we do with our clients. We won’t just look at ‘what’ you’re eating, but also ‘why’ and ‘how’ you’re eating. We can guide you towards eating in a more intuitive way to support your physical and mental wellbeing.

Adolescents
It’s distressing when a young person stops eating all the food their body needs. We understand that the best approach for most young people is to draw on the strength and resources of their family to return them to being physically and mentally well. We provide guidance and support to parents to ensure their young person eats the meals and snacks they need to get their full ‘dose’ of nourishment each day.

We’re part of the Welcome Here Project. People of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and sexes are welcome at Diet-Free Me. We invite you to let us know if there’s something we can do to make our practice a safer space for you or the people who attend your appointments.
