Each session runs for approximately 50 minutes. You can take the time you need to discuss things fully, so you won’t leave the session feeling like you were rushed or treated as ‘just another client’.

Payment is by card only and is required at the time of your appointment. Your receipt will be emailed to you.

Medicare
To claim a Medicare rebate for your sessions, you’ll need a current care plan from your doctor. Please note: You can’t claim a rebate for dietitian sessions with a Mental Health Treatment Plan. The rebate is currently $61.80 per dietetic session, but you’ll receive a higher rebate if you’ve reached your safety-net threshold. You’ll need to pay for your session in full, then your claim will be sent to Medicare and they will pay the rebate into your nominated bank account.

Health insurance
If your health insurance policy includes dietetics then you’ll likely be able to claim a rebate for your sessions.. The rebate amount will depend on your level of cover, so please check with your insurer. You will need to pay for the session in full, then submit a claim to your health insurer. You can’t claim a rebate from Medicare and your private health for the same session.
